How You Determine Your Letter Grade

The task list in the What you Must Do in This Course page for this course enumerates the work you have to do in the course.

To pass the course , you must successfully complete the majority of the assigned tasks. Assignments must be uploaded into D2L before the due date, or zero credit will be granted.

Your grade per centage will be reflected in D2L througout the semester. There will be a 2 to 3 week delay between when work is submitted before the grade is visible to the student.

Semester grades will be assigned according to the following:

1. A ... 95% to 100%
2. A- ... 90% to 94%
3. B+ ... 87% to 89%
4. B ... 84% to 86%
5. B- ... 80% to 83%
6. C+ ... 77% to 79%
7. C ... 74% to 76%
8. C- ... 70% to 73%
9. D+ ... 67% to 69%
10. D ... 64% to 66%
11. D- ... 60% to 63%
12. F ... 0% to 59%

At the end of the semester it is a good idea to get your assignments in as soon as possible. That increases your chances of finding out what your grade is going to be before the semester is completely over. If you submit everything the final Friday of the semester classes your final grade will not be calculated until the end of following week, which is Finals Week.
